An online GCSE learning catalogue should distinguish curriculum coverage from lessons pupils can open and study. SAVI School uses curriculum mappings to organise subject and exam-board pathways, but a mapped topic is not automatically a published, quality-checked lesson.

## What does curriculum coverage mean? Coverage describes how subjects and topics have been mapped to an awarding-body route. A curriculum mapping can exist before content completes authoring, review or publication. Check current availability before assuming every mapping is accessible.

## What should schools check? Check subjects, awarding body, published lessons, assessment approach, accessibility, support and examination arrangements. Ask which materials are available now and which are planned.

## Does curriculum alignment mean awarding-body endorsement? No. Curriculum mapping is not endorsement or accreditation by AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel, Eduqas or any other awarding organisation.

## Where can families verify SAVI coverage? Review https://www.savi.education/school/coverage and https://www.savi.education/school/home-learning. The dated September coverage methodology is at https://www.savi.education/articles/gcse-curriculum-coverage-september-2026. Check the current status before enrolment.

## Why publication status matters Separating mapped, content-present and published resources helps learners and search systems distinguish plans from delivered learning. Report the date and definitions used for any coverage figure.
