New Manager Essentials
Last reviewed:
New Manager Essentials groups published SAVI Workplace courses for first-line supervisors and new managers. It covers the start of people management. It does not certify someone as a manager.
Who it is for
People moving into a first supervisor or line-manager role, and the organisations that appoint them.
The workplace problem
New managers are often promoted for being good at the previous job, then left to learn delegation, feedback and priorities alone.
Learning outcomes
- Set a clear expectation for a piece of work.
- Give feedback that refers to the work, not a personality label.
- Know which decisions stay with the manager and which are escalated.
Duration, delivery and prerequisites
Those details belong to each published course. This topic does not invent one duration, one delivery method, or a shared prerequisite for every course that might match.

Evidence and sources
Each statement names its source. A register listing is not accreditation, and a SAVI page is not a third-party statistic.
AI Build Group Ltd is listed on the UK Register of Learning Providers with UKPRN 10101917. A UKPRN listing is not DfE accreditation, an exam-board partnership, or Ofsted registration.

SAVI Education does not award GCSEs, AS Levels, A Levels or other regulated qualifications, and it is not an exam centre. Completions can be recorded as SAVI Credentials Open Badges where that option is published.
